Probably the most recent ones: 6 and 7.

I think about how lackluster they are, how much they could have improved, and how ripped off we were with the non-existence of Z version and the unnecessary existence of both US & UM.

I think of this every day and every day i am reminded about the current shitty state of the franchise

I think about gen 4 and gen 5 the most since they both encapsulate the two extremes of pokemon at its best in terms of exploration and story respectively. But, I wouldn't say I think of any generation every day.
