>>35184907The problem is that BW series is both loved and hated for its plot focus and development, same thing applies for Gen 7 as a whole. Improving the history and conversations is actually beautiful in a series where everything was rather empty (as the first generations), it's clear to see they've been putting their heart into it. However, it hurts the replayability of the game really hard.
For example, everyone knows what happens after you beat the second gym in BW2. You are forced through that - cool at first theater - shitty encenation afterwards. And don't even get me on the scene of Bianca in BW or the whole Lillie's plot. Even though it's good at first glance, when you replay with different Pokémon, character, trying something different, you're there again with the same plot points to eat up before you can live the real things of the game.
