I beat the Frontier again recently, and you can't tell me that the Battle Palace Gold Symbol run is fun. The facilities have their charm, the symbols themselves felt like winning badges that actually meant something (in terms of overcoming actual challenges), and the overall concept was solid, but I'd rather play a tournament featuring all-stars from various regions than most of those facilities.

Sorry, but that's me. I like the IDEA of battle facilities, but fuck losing hours and hours and hours of progress because of one bad turn of RNG. If they had a mode that would let you use teams of 6v6 (where you can reduce freak game deciding RNG decissions, and actually make a deep team synergy) I would be a lot more for it. Try and make different forms of engagement/goals other than streaks.

And I've always hated 3v3 battles, not only in the frontier, but I also don't care about battle spot. How are you supposed to prepare against over 800 pokemon when you only get 3? Your team may only have one recourse against fire types, but then a random crit on the switch turns your check into fodder. Then the battle is over.

PWT was fun, but still liked the Frontier better because i like the stupid gimmicks, BW2 also had PokéStudios backing it up so it still had gimmicks, it wasn't just all in one place.

Wish that they would allowed Legendary Pokémon, even if it was just "for for fun" and didn't get you BP/Symbols for the wins, just so you get something to fucking use them for.

And it gave options to get BP that wasn't just the "Battle Tower" or the "Battle Tower but now it has a different name".

Is Battle Frontier do-able with Pokemon you used in the story?
