With all that said, there's a few ways to do this: Both Quetzalcoatl and Tezcatlipoca; and Huitzilopotchli and Tlaloc would make sense as pairs for versions. Altternativeely, you could do a set of 4, the 4 Tezcatipocas (Huitzilopotchli, Quetzalcoatl, Xipe Totec, and Tezcatlpoca) as your main legendaries and break tradition a bit. Or do Quettz, Tez, Tlaloc, and Huiitz as the main 4, since they are generally ooverall tthe most important, and have xipe totec as a event legendary.
As far as typings: Fighting/Fire for Huitziloptchli is insanely obvious. Water is for Tlaloc's primary typing, and I could see electric or flying, work for a secondary. I'm reading he has some associations with the earth as wel, so maybe ground, but I think that's iffy. Quetzalcoatl should be some combination of dragon, psychic, and flying given what I've stated.
Tezcatlipoca i'm a bit unsure of. His associations with strife, being a trickster, jaguars, and the like screams dark type, but divination and magic also suggest ghost or psychic, but I'd alsoo suggest rock to sync up with the heavy obsidian symbolsim (which is related to the divination bit: Divination was done with obsidian mirrors, and Tezcalipoca litterally translatees to smoking mirror, or smokes like a mirror), or ground, as he also had earth associations (though, this may have been a earth/sky duality thing, which is what the snake/feeather coombo on quetz is symbolic of: both mortal and heavenly traits. Duality is important in aztec religion), and I guess bcause jaguars seem "ground" to me. Xipee Totec should be primary grass, but where you go froom there is iffy. I'd suggest ghost, because flayed skins is spooky, and a grass/ghost combo ties into the rebirth and renewal theme.
