What's the point?
There's not A SINGLE Pokemon, excluding Mythicals, that you can find in DPPt and HGSS that you cannot get in any of the other 17 games compatible with Pokemon Bank.
I don't understand why this bothers you.

Look at these retards. Adjusting transfer to allow DPPtHGSS would be incredibly simple. It's no issue involving the games' code, since outside of checking the header game ID, the game itself isn't touched. It reads and writes SAVE DATA, which is easily accessible and writeable.

The game ID and appropriate icon corresponding to GO mons exists in the data, and is still applicable through hacks. So it was planned at some point, but I wonder why it was dropped? I dice it down to Niantic being even more incompetant than GF.
