I'm currently prepping to replay Black. Can one get away with using of these things in game if they trade one in early on or is the level curve too fucked to be fix with the traded Pokemon exp boost?

Yes at level 40 and it doesn't turn into Hydregion until level 64 which won't happen until the end of the post game quests and that's if you save up your candies.

However, with the Lucky Egg you get around 1500-2000 EXP per wild battle in regular grass and 2000-2500 EXP in doubles grass, all in the postgame areas.

Even if you get a low leveled one from trading or injecting, it will still be an unevolved hindrance for most of the game. Hence why it’s only catchable later in the game at a high level.

If you want a dragon type that you can reliably use for the early/mid game, either wait for Axew/Druddigon, or trade/inject them.

Evolution level is too high to be worthwhile.

I love Gen V, but god damn several Pokemon it introduced are completely useless due to ridiculous evolution levels (Deino, Rufflet, Vullaby, Mienfoo, Pawniard, Larvesta, etc.). GF needs to retcon this shit. they won't

Yeah, the rare occasion where 1500-2000 becomes 3500-4000 EXP even with the Lucky Egg you got from Aurea Juniper in Chargestone Cave.
