>>35199498>If I did that to a Dex you'd be left with maybe 10 Pokemon lines if you include ones I got used toI think you missed the point of that pic a bit. I deleted the most controversial pokemon, not the pokemon that I think are bad designed or I personally don't like. I love Druddigon for example, yet I had to erase it because of the usual dumb complains about "spikes" that don't understand the point of its design.
First of all, I feel like a lot of people tend to pick pokemon they neither like or dislike, and automatically dump them together with the ones they dislike. There should be room for neutrality.
I personally dislike a lot of pokemon or think they're ugly, but that doesn't mean I think they're badly designed or a bad addition for the dex.
If you only left the pokemon you like I'm sure you'd be left with 10 lines or less, but what if you forgot about your tastes and just deleted the ones that people seem to have problems with?
In a similar fashion if I were to make a list with just the mons I like, it'd be a much smaller pic, sure.
However, if I did a list with the ones I truly dislike, the result wouldn't be the previous list inverted, but an equally small new list with little relation.
This board seems to polarize everyone's opinion on everything, to the point people forget that there's something called middle ground.
If you don't like it doesn't mean you have to hate it, dammit.
>>35199534Well yeah, these are of course not perfect because even trying to be objective here I still have to use my personal experiences with what I saw people considered controversial or boring over the years.
