>>35254276Well, the anon here
>>35254508 already showed you how Ash and Serena's relationship got tested and how her views of him were not perfect.
But still, you're being incredibly dismissive. First of all, on the first half of XY Ash acted as the catalyst for Serena's insecurities and his passion towards becoming a Pokémon master was one of the main incentives for her to find a dream to herself, something she could build for herself. And this wasn't just Serena taking inspiration from Ash, they talked about it, Ash guided Serena as best as he could. During second half Serena begins to grow and they support each other, just like Ash and other main girls did for one another. Pic related from the anon that replied to you before is tied to an arc where Ash reached the peak of his carreer as a trainer and he later acknowledges his growth is partly due to Serena's wake up call to him with the fist bump after the gym battle. Later, in the end of XYZ, Ash would be the one to support Serena and her carreer and help her get rid of her doubts to pursue a new found goal. This is nothing new, Ash had relationships with other girls like this before, where he helped them grow and where they helped him grow, the way he affects Serena and the way Serena affects him is very similar to his relationship with Dawn during DP. You act like nothing happened, but just as much happend in Ash and Serena's journey as it did on others before.
The only difference between Serena and the other girls is that the romantic tones are explicit in her case. They are another part of her character and important to get Serena where she got today, but they're hardly the main point or focus about her. Still, the romance serves to boost the ship even further than any other and since there is just as much development, your sentiment is misfounded and there is nothing to invalidate those who like Amour.
