I just hope they give the main character facial expressions. The fact they didn't in gen 7 has me worried, because it must have been artistic choice. No hardware limitations were holding them back.

The XY main character had a wider array of expressions.
The deal with our S&M psycho is weird, everyone else had a thousand pixelated facial expressions. Everyone but them, with their permanent villager grin.
