Set if I want something resembling a challenge, switch if I just want to mindlessly blow through a campaign while doing something else.

I used to pick set as a kid because I was always annoyed that it would ask me after every KO if I wanted to switch.
In my early teens I was starting to grasp what actual strategy was and chose set.
Later teens I found it too easy and now I use set exclusivly

Shift because I didn't know Set was a thing until I started Nuzlocking and by then I had finished Sun and haven't bought USUM. There's no 'yet' there either.
