The ones in Gen 7 were way better than the ones in Gen 6. So many battles in Gen 6 just had this stupid grid room thing, whereas it's a lot less common to see that in Gen 7. Battles such as Shady House or Aether Paradise would have just been grids in XY, but in Gen 7 are actually representative.
