Exactly my position as well. It’s easily my personal favorite and closest to my heart, but I can recognize that it’s not objectively best (which I think is probably Gen IV or V so far).

Basically this. It’s my favorite gen, but it’s pretty rough around the edges considering things like the P/S split.
