I’d like to preface my statement by taking claim to being an OwlFag.
You aren’t supposed to like every starter as they are designed to appeal to different interests.

Also, lets be real, Decidueye has shit stats.

In all honesty, anon, I only dislike 3 of the first form starters. Maybe it’s biased because I know what the evolve to, but at least 70% of middle stages are ugly as fucking sin

None of the first stages are bad, honestly. Even Chikorita and the Gens 5-7 starters are fine at this point in their evolutionary lines. It's going forward where it all gets fucked up.

Their final stages look so good not only individually but together as a group that I nearly forgot what their midstages looked like. Unfortunately the second stage only stands out when it's brimming with potential that the final stage fails to tap.
