>>35238231I think both look fine, I never really noticed the lighter coloration until it was pointed out to me. I'm well aware that the over-saturation was done for the sake of visual appeal, but I wouldn't go so far as to say this makes them objectively better. People see things in different ways.
>>35238147Honestly, I'd be surprised if this was even a conscious choice. It's likely that when they all sat down and started making the models they used the original artwork as a base and worked from there, which is why they chose to use those colors.
