Just because the route looks like a route from Kanto doesn’t mean it is Kanto. Remember, Santalune Forest has the same exact layout as Viridian Forest.

I mean... the route still looks shit. And if it isn't Kanto, they've gone so far as to copy/paste a route from FRLG right down to the placement of the rocks. AND it's an ORAS-style blocky environment, instead of being more natural looking and free flowing.

It's still not good. :/
