>>35248067To me it goes:
>Normal - Azurill, Heliolisk, DrampaAzurill has the water type right there in its evos, what makes it less watery than them? What's even heliolisk's excuse?
>Fire - Numel, Darmanitan-zen, Reshiram, BlacephalonI understand the reason behind their fire typing, I just don't think I could guess they're fire types right away if I had never seen them before.
>Water - PalkiaIt doesn't work at all as a water type unless you're willing to accept the idea of solid-liquid-gaseous base for the trio. It looks like a psychic type to me.
>Electric - (A)GolemAll electric types are really electric-ish, I had to look through all of them to decide on alolan golem.
>Grass - RowletIf you remove its bowtie and its tail you're literally left with just another normal/flying type. It's the worst case of "it's a grass type because it has random leaves attached to it" that I've ever seen, and ironically enough, fakemon get shit for doing this but rowlet is liked. I don't dislike it, but I think the way they made it a grass type is really lazy. Dartrix too, to an extent.
>Ice - Jynx, Swinub, WeavileIf I didn't know anything about these mons' lore or origin and you showed them to me, I would never guess they're ice types.
>Fighting - Virizion, Stufful, PheromosaI understand why virizion and pheromosa are fighting types, but they barely look the part. Stufful really has no excuse; bewear makes a tiny bit of sense, but stufful? should be pure normal.
>Poison - Bulbasaur, Budew, NihilegoI get the reason, they just don't look like it.
