Tri is trying to make sure we know pink Falcor is the canon line, not Ophanimon, and then there's Hurricane Touchdown.

Digimon has no type However they are weak and resistant against various element in Digimon World Dawn and Dusk.
Example : WarGreymon is resistant against fire but he is weak against earth element which is Ground and Rock type move might be super effective on him (That would explain how his was damage from few pedal and a small bolder that Piedmon thrown at him).
Holy species and Holy Knight digimon are weak against Dark element but resistant against Light element. Which mean a Dark type move such as " Dark Pulse" might be super effective on all Royal Knight.

Thats outdated, Cyber Sleuth is the most updated, and Not all Royal Knights are light elements, hell Crusadermon is Virus/Dark, you can't get further from light than that, you also have Ulforceveedramon, Dynasmon and Examon being Wind, Gankoomon being Fire, I think only two or three are actually Light.

This. If you gotta use game logic at least use the logic from the most recent (and actually playable) games.

Although in CS/HM there's no resistances added for being associated with an element, just a weakness, so it still doesn't translate to Pokemon particularly well.

Can somebody tell me the updated type chart? I know that the DS era used types based on the eight fields and that ice fell under water, but I don't know if they went back to the DW1 element system. The whole thing with plant/wood is confusing, especially with thunder being the official element of the Jungle Troopers field even though it contains plenty of plant Digimon with no electrical association unlike a lot of insect ones. Are they under earth/Nature Spirits instead?

Terriermon's are fine, Guilmon could be argued as Fire/Dragon for his first two forms but the rest seem legit

The Royal knights are still Holy Knight species which is the main reason why they are weak against dark element.
