A part of me wants a Kanto remake just to make a point that GameFreak wouldn't do much with it and that it's indeed a boring region.

I would rather it not be done under those circumstances but people gotta learn.

Justify what a re-envisioning of Kanto would offer that a new built from the ground up region the developers can experiment with in design, architecture and setting including its own new set of Pokémon can't?
