>>35267872The Two most plausable pairs of names for the Generation VIII Nintendo Switch Pokémon games that have been thrown around in my opinion are Pokémon Plus and Pokémon Minus and Pokémon Light and Pokémon Sound. But after much thinking, Pokémon Light and Pokémon Sound are the most likely names to be real as they fit the Tradition Vs Innovation motif that leaked, and fit a potential lore for the legends at the same time. Light representing tradition in things like Christmas, Hanakkah, and ideals in bhuddism, with Sound representing innovation such as in Audio technology, and gaming, not to mention voice assistants like Google Assistant, Alexa, Siri, and Cortana.
It makes sense if they play up the idea of a Pokémon Spirit Realm beyond the grave that is ruled by a Legendary of higher power than Xerneas that would be seen as the guardian of that realm that determines a Human or Pokémon's fate after death if you go to the Spirit ream or not. And it works too if they have a Guardian of the real world of the Pokémon Universe that determines a Human or Pokémon's fate when you get reincarnated as an analog to the Spirit Realm Guardian Mascot Legendary.
See? It all makes sense and comes together when you realize the titular Light and Sound in the titles that exist all throughout the Pokémon World, Universe, and Multiverse came from the purgatory between the real world of Pokémon and the Spirit Realm that would also comprise of the space-time continuum which is there either when your fate is determined after death or before reincarnation.
It works!
And that's why I feel Pokémon Light and Pokémon Sound are the most likely names for the Generation VIII Pokémon games especially when they fit in with the Tradition VS. Innovation motif.
