The point of eevee is to be a mon that has the potential to adapt into any environment upon evolving by becoming of a type compatible with that environment. A normal type eeveelution is a bigger eevee, thus instead of being adapted to an environment by changing into another type, it keeps the normal type, that is basically the blank type, and the same potential eevee had to adapt into any type, but rather than doing so by evolving it can do it quicker mid battle, enhancing what eevee is known for. That should be the true purpose of a normal eeveelution, as shown by the fact that all pokemon that have to do with adapting to become another type are all normal types (arceus, eevee, kecleon, silvally, ditto to an extent).

Eevee's abilities are run away on slot 1, adaptability in slot 2, and anticipation as hidden. This normal eeveelution would have protean in slot 1, adaptability in slot 2, and anticipation as hidden. If what triggers your autism is that it has 3 abilities while the rest of eeveeltions have 2, then just give it adaptability in slot 1, and protean as hidden.
