I like handicap abilities that allow for pokemon with huge stats, but the current one we have are too punishing and not interesting to play around. Here are a few ideas to fix that:

>Show-off
The Pokémon can only use each of its attacks once.

>Overconfident
The Pokémon provokes opposing Pokémon upon entering battle, increasing their Attack stat.

>Hungry
The Pokémon cannot use attacking moves unless it has eaten a berry.

That's not how hypochondria works. Here's how it's done:

Hypochondria
>Pokemon is treated like it has the "poisoned" status, but isn't actually poisoned.

Basically, it's like Comatose, but for poison. They're immune to status effects, and they get a boosted Facade, but Venoshock and Venom Drench are effective on them

When switched out, Or knocked out. This pokemon takes all field hazards with it. They are returned on switch in.

This Pokémon may disobey its trainer and use its strongest attack instead.
Strongest attack as in the attacking move with the most damage. As for the chance of it disobeying I'd put it between 25% and 50%.

Some of these might be kind of OP but so are a lot of abilities already in the games

>Healing Tide
Automatically sets up Aqua Ring when the Pokemon is sent out

>Sharpened Blades
Works like Iron Fist but for slashing and cutting moves

>Wicked Witch
Immune to Fairy moves and gets a special attack boost when hit with one

>Windrammer
Sets up a Tailwind when a "wind" based move is used, like Hurricane or even Heat Wave

>Unstoppable
Literally just Reckless + Rock Head

>Bullet Train
Gives a sharp speed boost when Magnet Rise is set up
