I am part of a small team which has been allowed access to confidential materials regarding generation 8 of Pokemon.
The next games will be called Pokemon sky and Pokemon earth.
The two box legionaries are a white,blue and yellow eagle/dragon which is a flying psychic type, the other is a black red and purple mole which is a ground ghost type.
The new games will tie in to the upcoming movie. Towards the end of the new movie the girl characters (i haven't been informed of her English name) eevee will evolve to a flying type. There will be a Japanese exclusive distribution of this Pokemon at the release of gen 8.
