Wow I forgot how shitty gen 5's battles looked. Also triple battles weren't bad but they weren't exactly that much different from double battles and they were so infrequent that most people forgot about them.

They don't look as bad on an actual screen, the picture quality itself is bad but also your phone/computer is a lot higher res than a DS

I liked them and rotation, but as anon said, they happened to rarely.

It is also blatantly obvious as WHY they were dropped considering how frequent framedrops are with doubles, well, on my N3DS anyway, that stuff is what makes me miss sprites famalam.

Pretty fun, scary as fuck in nuzlockes. Makes some parts of BW2 quite tense. Rotation battles weren't as fun, just constant moving around, but maybe it's because I had both White versions and in the Cafe in X I just used Triples to grind as it was faster.

I remember thinking that the graphics looked just as shitty back when I played it on a DS. The DS's resolution was too small to have a dynamic camera with sprites and everything was just a pixelated mess.

Having the AI resort to switching more than extremely rarely was kind of nice. A touch of actual competitive Pokemon in your Pokemon.
