Groudon and Tropius (he's one heck of a blind random encounter) might have been the last times I went "Whew, that's a Pokemon?!" As while Groudon's utter lack of texture (which Omega Ruby's title screen PARADES to my dismay) marked it as one clear as day, it was mean looking in a different way than, say, Gyarados or Tyranitar. And of course being a physical legend in both type and preferred attacks was so novel at the time.
