Got this for a really good price with walker. How should I play it nuz or regular? This would my first time playing it. And is the mons you get from using the walker good?

There isn't anything super relevant you can do with the Pokewalker other than goof around, but you can get some Pokemon like Kangaskhan super early and they destroy early game. I don't know how I'd treat the Pokewalker in a Nuzlocke context.

I'd recommend not doing a nuzlocke in the game with low wild levels everywhere, at least not on a first run.

I used to kick myself for not obtaining the surfing/flying Pikachu from the walker, but i read that you couldn't transfer it to newer games. Not sure if it's true, but there isn't much reason to use the walker. You might find a mon or two you wouldn't normally find early on, but at that rate i'd just suggest breeding on another gen 4 game and treating it as an in-game trade.

There is no reason to not use the Walker if you have one, it'll give you decent items as well as give you some decent Pokemon when you're in johto, plus you can find shit like spiritomb and feebas on it once you're into Kanto

i tried to figure out how to get the event routes a month ago. it can be done with a flash cart, custom firmware, injection, etc. but i didnt have the patience for it.

normal pokewalker routes can get you murkrow, magby, elekid, kangaskan, even dratini. all before the first gym
