Gen 6 weather nerf. Prior to it, weather would have lasted the whole battle if not removed by another weather ability or move, now all weather not from the Primals/Mega Fug lasts five turns, eight with rocks.

It's still the best and only viable Rapid Spin user in OU.

And Mold Breaker allows it to bypass Magic Bounce when setting up rocks/inflicting Toxic, and bypass abilities like Levitate, Sturdy, and Disguise.

Metagame trends such as Landorus-T, Celesteela, Greninja and Hawlucha. It's not completely unviable but it is very hard to win with and rarely seen. Keep in mind this refers to the sand core and not to Tyranitar alone.
