>>35292667>a majority of the younger players would need two games worth of story explained to themThere's literally nothing wrong with that.
>Not only that but you'd need a new story and new characters based on the already existing lore. It would a clusterfuck of a story. No, it would give Game Freak a chance to make a lore with some kind of continuity. I was loving what they were doing with gen 6 until I realized they're just baiting us with small details that will never amount to anything, ever. It's a great idea that isn't getting a proper implementation. A B3W3 would be a great opportunity to do this better, while also expanding on something that was already established.
>It also wouldn't be as easy to produce as a remake since everything would have to be made from scratch but it wouldn't be as worth it as a new game since the general layout would still be very similar to BW/BW2So they would have to put just a little more effort in making the games, huh? What a tragedy. What are you going to tell me next, that you want yearly releases? Do you also like third versions, paid events, paid online, the scam that is the Pokemon Bank and hope they add paid DLC on top of all of that by any chance?
>the general layout would still be very similar to BW/BW2I don't expect them to change it either. It would be a good idea, so of course they wouldn't do it. Kanto seriously needs a redesign, that area can only pass off as Tokyo by GB standards (which they obviously kind of tried to stay close to before gen 6).
>we'd most likely would get no new Pokemon out of this.ORAS had new Mega Evolutions and USUM had new Pokémon. It will most likely happen, whether it's a remake, a sequel or something else.
>Unova already had it's time to shine and I'd rather they would just make a whole new game than a sequel to sequel. But you do know it will happen either way. Would you really prefer a FRLG over a B3W3?
