He should've said certain instead of hardcore. Most people don't do the Dex every game (especially since it's just a bunch of trading now) and simulators obsolete breeding for a good chunk of the fanbase.

Yes, I played the gba and ds games hoping you were worth it, since the main game felt like a shameless rehash every time but bw2.
You were worthy only in platinum and gen ii remakes, but no worries, the 3ds games have actually a decent main game.
