Make it Adamant, give it a Weakness Policy and give it Sturdy.
-Shell Smash
-Aqua Jet
-Stone Edge
-Earthquake/Waterfall/Ice Beam (use Naughty nature instead)

There should be a way to get any pokemon high enough stats to compete with the others. It makes no sense that there are so many pokemon that arecuseless for competitive play. Gets boring seeing the same teams using the same strategies over and over

Its also about abilities and movepools. Some pokemon could become good with improved movepools and abilities, and in some cases new typing that make sense and are beneficial to the pokwmon. Look at breloom, hes got low BST but excellent toys to play with

Sudowoodo, regirock, cradily.

Also Volbeat, I remember leveling volbeat up in 3rd gen just to see his signature move. He's got a neat design, wish he was useable.

They may fit the theme visually but c'mon man there are more Poison mons to choose from. Noivern can't even learn any Poison moves apart from Toxic.

Yeah but I didn't like the other poison types enough to find a good replacement. I was really hoping that water/poison platypus was real. It was a great design, concept, and it's refreshing that the person who came up with it actually looked into the powers a platypus would have instead of just making another "lol look how derpy this duck beaver is"
