Genesect's movie debuted in 2013 and Volcanion's movie debuted in 2016, the same years as Gens 6 and 7 respectively. I know "muh patterns" is in effect here but the fact that the movie is coming out this year only supports a 2018 Switch game. Each of these movies debuted in July as well so there's no issues in terms of timing, the only thing that's off is the reveal of Zeraora, the timing gives it more of a Mewtwo Y/Magearna position, but it does line up with when Marshadow was revealed prior to I Choose You.
