Gyms

>Gyms are Zelda like dungeon with enigmas, trainers and wild pkmn
>Gym leaders have 6 pokemon
>Items are not allowed in battles against gym leaders
>beat the 8 gyms you want in the order you want to access the pkmn league)
>You can re-fight all gyms as many times as you want (their level matches the number of badges you have)

Main Character
>The MC have a level and stats (capture, friendship, charisma, luck, raising)
>Clothes can boost your stats
>HMs are replaced by outfits:
-Cut -> Gardener outfit with a garden shear
-Surf -> Swimsuit with a surfboard
-Fly -> Futuristic suit with a jetpack
-Rock smash & Strength -> Karateka outfit
-Flash & Dig -> Mining outfit
-All HM outfits can be bought in the first city but they cost $100 000 each (you choose the first one for free)

Gameplay
>Side quests to obtain rare items/rare pokemon/Money
>Legendary side quests unlock legendary pokemon and fights against MC trainers from other regions (males and females)
>Legendary quests are made to explain the lore of legendary pokemon and legendary trainers to new players
>Random generated events (a horde of pokemon attacking a town/city, or trainers calling you to get a rematch with stronger pokemon
>Contests/Trials/Battle Frontier/Safari Zone return as mini games (+ Pokeride Racing/Fishing or Bug Catching contests (depending on the day of the week))

Pokemon:
>67 new pokemon
>3 legendary
>All pokemon are obtainable in the game (even event pokemon and starters for other region)
