Bidoof - only needs Tackle. Star Cave item drops are used to inflict statuses on Jirachi, and you can take out most enemies in one hit.
Igglybuff - definitely the strongest. Pound WILL take everyone out. HP is just low enough to make Diglett RNG OHKO you.
Armaldo - Randomized moveset, all of which are useful. Protect cheeses the MH mob boss. Definitely lives up to being a skilled explorer and outlaw.
Sunflora - Unwinnable without storage abuse or Bullet Seed. Haunter boss resists all her attacking moves. She's just not that good.
Lopunny -Good god, a Klutz leader. Pound is strong enough, and Baton Pass is useful since both bosses are mobs. Her other attacks will always be bad.
Gardevoir - Bar none the worst forced Pokemon. She needs to be babied constantly due to her paper thin defenses, and typically has bad supporting moves. On extreme cases she can have TELEPORT as a move. Seriously?
Medicham - The only good Charm mon. As long as one of her attacks (she usually has 3) is not Jump Kick, you're good. She'll eat up your Oran Berries since she's always fighting in place of Gardevoir.
Grovyle - By far the best SE mon. Absorb is a strong STAB and means you don't need to use Oran Berries, and Dig demolishes all the bosses, including Dialga. Quick Attack serves as the only consistent ranged attack an SE protagonist will ever get.
Dusknoir - Good partner to Grovyle, Shadow Sneak gets a second hit in on enemies in corridors, and he doesn't have to worry about corners.
Celebi - A unique case, the only cleric SE mon. Heal Bell is the only noteworthy thing she has since she won't do much fighting, but it means you never have to worry about statuses. Like her main plot counterpart she could still hold her own, despite that.
