Especially when you have some reign to design the character it's fucking retarded to limit yourself based on gender.

I've had hundreds of MMO and RPG characters that were female at probably a 45m 55f percentage split despite being male. Writing and even acting female characters has nothing to do with being transgender whatsoever.

Do you not watch shows with women? Read books about women? Not play games that have women. You have some very serious issues if you do.

Alola clothes looks like Walmart clothes
Kalos clothes looks like Louis Vuitton, Dolce and Gabbana, Armani, Gucci, etc clothes
If you prefer Alola's outfits is because you don't have taste.

Gen 7 is the worst gen we have ever got, everything about this generations is completely shit, the region, the outfits, the pokemon, story, characters, online. I didn't like gen 6 too much but at least it's a stylish game, Kalos is so beautiful that it makes me come back again in fact I play more often Pokemon Y than Pokemon Sun that I haven't played since january 2017, the online is better and of course their clothes.

I think that's the best I could ever achieve with USUM
It really sucks that the only option for the male character is T-shirt and tank tops.
Like I get that it's a hot region, and that gen VI protags are younger, so it would be weird for them to be classy while XY's protags are 14-16yo
It's hard to think that I miss XY's male clothing options, when I thought there wasn't enough variety back then, but now it's worse
