Hi Guys,

someone just DM'd me that this thread was here.

I checked the catalog and google and found a few others.

I did post once at the beginning, and got my thread deleted, maybe I'll post once more in the future when there is NO ability to buy or back the game and I have something really cool to show.

But I am not making these threads. I think the preception that I am making them is making me look like a pretty bad guy but I assure you I posted twice in 2018, once this month and once in January.

I'll use this trip code forever, I know that doesn't prove those without this trip AREN'T me, but at least you'll know when it is me for sure.

I disagree there. There's a lack of really great monster catching games that aren't Pokémon. There's, what, DQ Monsters, Ni No Kuni and SMT? Maybe a few of the Digimon games.

Also, 1 of my DFW friends has an idea for a Pokemon-inspired game, and I could only imagine that this board would qualify for discussing anything strictly like (but not Monster Hunter or some shit).

The friend's idea is:
Rebalance the types hardcore and change some (one I know of is Sound),
World encourages you to catch critters but it doesn't quite make logical sense and you choose how you feel about it,
Legendaries are batshit type combos,
etc.

I hope it actually addresses critisms of the newer games lack of content but it's probably going to play like gen 2 with dragon warrior monster elements thrown in and slightly harder.

Doesn't necessarily have to be about monster collecting. Just games that have a large roster of creatures as the main focus could also be included, like Monster Hunter. Even excluding those, though, there are quite a few series that would fit.

And those are just the ones that are still fairly relevant. There's a load of other stuff like Monster Rancher, Fossil Fighters, Jade Cocoon and Spectrobes that aren't currently relevant but could still be discussed.

Xbox games do, but that's between two Microsoft platforms.
It could potentially work by setting up an account for the game, then uploading your save to that account and downloading it again to another platform.

I know about that xbox/PC cloud saves. Promising cross platforms saves just seems like something they would promise without thinking of the technical limitations of it and makes me wary of supporting any kind of kickstarter. When the budget is obviously too low or they promise dumb shit like that, red flags raise and I assume they have no idea what they are actually doing.
