My solution is simple. I have a backup in case the 1st one is shit.

Haxorus wasn't supposed to be the pseudo, but rather Unova's version of Kingdra in terms of overall stats. The design, acquisition and stat distribution are the key differences between the two.

I find it funny how Haxorus is more popular and used in walkthroughs. Even more people think it’s the pseudo of Unova.
If Hydreigon evolved earlier at like level 53, it would be less of a forgotten pseudo-legendary and it will be used more used in gameplays.

hydreigon should be ghost not dark type. It looks like a windsock, like its fur is an otherworldly blight. dark type is for mischievous, sneaky things, not brutal things (dragon).
