How come Metal Gear Survive created a huge scandal when it charged 10 dollars for a second save slot, yet people have let pokemon slide selling save slots for 40 dollars for 20 years?

because mg survive charged 10 dollars for a new character slot not save slot which let you potentially quintuple your resources with 4 new bases if you bought 4 new characters, it was a pay to be autistic and farm materials mechanic. pokemon forces you to buy a new game if you want to save your old one with no perks other than getting to play it again
