True balance can probably never be achieved but from gen 5 onward they never even tried to hide how rigged the Battle facilities were. Impossible odds like OHKO moves nearly always hitting and certain Pokemon that have an advantage over you showing up kills the fun of tackling something like the Battle Subway or the Mansion.

There is zero evidence that the battle facilities cheat, because they don't cheat. The game eventually screwing you over just means the RNG is working the way it should be.

Reminder that Battle Facilities only appear to be rigged because the AI only needs to beat you ONCE to ruin your streak whereas you're required to smash them indefinitely to get results, and because a lot of the sets rely on RNG to succeed, you're bound to succumb sooner or later.

They were probably being way too conservative with TM moves since gen 5 was the first gen with infinite TMs. That’s why you have weird shit like Reuniclus being able to learn Thunder but not Thunderbolt and vice versa for Gothitelle. Then there’s also Seismitoad and Keldeo being the only water types to not learn Ice Beam and Blizzard.

Apparently so. As opposed to being frail, it's now slow and frail. Those shit stats needs a major redoing in the next games. In fact, I'd do an overhaul to the typing and movepool along with the stats. It's sad really because midnight form Lycanroc looks like it would tear some ass, but it ended up as a shitmon. I'd also buff midday and dusk as well, even though they're not as bad off.

*BST would have a slight increase
