Also, you two are still completely ignoring the bad movesets on enemy trainers in the old games (which, unlike the EXP share and the Latis is not optional). No attempt at all to cover their weaknesses or have coverage beyond their type like they do now. And in Gen 1, you'd still see 40 BP moves on "bosses" by the end of the game. Hell, the champion in RB uses Wing Attack and Ember, for fuck's sake. That makes a much bigger difference than "waaaah! they told me where to go! this game things I'm a baby! waaaaah! I'm a big boy and need big boy games!".
