Why are the japanese logos cooler? Will they ever make the english logos more like the japanese ones? They have been getting closser with usum atleast

Japanese logos are free to be stylized for each game, whereas the Western ones have to be given that ugly Yellow blocky Pokemon logo for brand recognition/marketing reasons.

Because kanjis are graphically better than the alphabet (romaji). So you can use Kanjis however you want, with the alphabet it's more difficult and often by the viewers eyes you can be seen as a dumb/child or as someone who uses an old style, it's a cultural issue too.

The problem with this mockup is that unlike with the Japanese katakana, the Pokeball and Blue Orb aren't part of the text and serve no 'purpose' and look way tackier than in the original. (And they are pretty damn tacky in the Jap one too.)
