They look lifeless, even more so than the main games. There's this sense of uncanniness whenever you look closely at the models.

But that art is really well made...
Nice shading, good use of colors, good pose, eyes perfectly aligned, well drawn hands...
You can dislike the design but the art itself is objectively good
