Too focused in training and getting Gym Badges to have a job, gets money through prize money

Was originally supposed to be a Gym Leader but quickly dropped out the though of being one due to both minor laziness and lack of confidence. Goes on a journey to prove his worth.

Laid-back to an odd degree, and tends to be a tad lazy, often not bothering buying items or just napping in general. When he puts his all into something, it really shows. Also has a self-confidence issue, but he often jokes around about it.
>Partner
His Scolipede, which (When it was a Venipede) gave him the confidence he needed to become a trainer. Is a force to be reckoned with, but is a huge softie.

A Poison type specialist, and it shows.
