Emergency Exit works really well for Guzma because he always leads with Golisopod and is usually able to get his ability to proc. Thus he can get off 2 FIs without too much trouble. This also goes for human players to some extent.
That being said, the same effect could be achieved by just coding the AI to switch Pokemon or giving Golisopod a switching move (U-Turn/Baton Pass).
It's really unfortunate because as
