>>35370682>How many moves straight up arent there or dont work with the system?Err I believe most are there and they work. Some are reworked, like Teleport or Heal Pulse (it bounces off walls and your enemy can intercept the heal).
>What of priority moves, status moves, metronome, pain split, curse, etc.The game has a PP system in the form of an energy bar that slowly recharges. Different moves spend different amounts of said PP. I believe Priority moves spend the least PP and also have faster animations. Flinching depletes your PP.
Helping Hand makes your (and your switch-in allie's) PP recharge faster.
Recharge moves like Hyper Beam pauses your PP recovery briefly.
FRZ and SLP statuses are fucking insanely broken.
>How does it handle tanky pokemon since speed seems the same for all? (Hell how does it handle shuckle and its moves)Speed isn't the same for all, it affects your movement speed and it shows. I have a Swift Swim Kingdra and when I cast rain it hauls ass. On the other hand I have a Camerupt and I have to rely on Solid Rock because I know I won't be dodging as many attacks. You can use contact moves to dodge, though, because they make you dash.
Tanks are not very useful because you can dodge. You're better off choosing glass cannons and hope you don't get hit. You can also dodge moves by casting a higher PP move into it. For example, Magic Leaf are like homing missiles, they always hit, so you can use Hydro Pump or whatever to destroy them. Or you can predict the travel parabole and hug the wall.
