Have a few separate boxes of forms.

Don't do stupid shit like rotom that can change any game, but there are plenty of pokemon that you won't have access to if you don't have specific games

Unown letters, Deerling seasons, all minior colors, every pumpkaboo size, etc.

Unfortunately there's still events like hat pikachus and vivillon patterns that are practically gone forever unless you don't mind hacked

Eh, you might not want to go down that autism rabbit hole. I got the vast majority of them just posting semi in demand breeding leftovers on the GTS and asking for scatterbugs (or vivillons, but scatterbug trades happen almost immediately). Unfortunately there are like 4 forms that you'll never get because they come from small ass areas and the japs will snatch up the trade before them.

How are you gonna do that? are you gonna trade withb yourself from gold and silver? use pokemon stadium to trade if so. Less bugs than using a fuckinggameboy emulator trading function, backup your saves constantly too, they tend to get corrupted during trades.
