Repeat the same scenario for Magnezone, Koko, Lele, Latias etc.

Guys, seriously, just use Alakazam. Psychic rips it a new asshole and if it tries to burn/toxic you just stay in base form and don't mega-evolve so you keep Magic Guard. Your only real fear is Knock Off, but even that won't do much to you since you're holding a mega stone. Switch in Alakazam against Toxapex, get a Calm Mind up while the Toxapex asshat tries to switch (or stay in while Toxapex is powerless to hurt you), and proceed to fuck up his team. Just don't Mega Evolve until after you got the Calm Mind up in case he tried to use Toxic.

Tox regenerates, recovers and just doesnt die. It's the ultimate "10 more minutes mom!" Pokemon.

Meanwhile lando switches in a bunch and takes chip damage every time, atleast there's some sense of progression.
