besides all the content bullshit and required skills and etc, what pokemon game or pokemon generation has a special place in your heart? and why?

Diamond/pearl for me.
I can't tell exaclty why, but when i think about that gen, i just get a feel of joy and happiness. Had a lot of fun in the games, and i watched the whole series season. it was a great period of my life.
