I'm #Team2019. I'll be honest, I don't want the new main series Switch games to be released this year. XY and SM were rushed and incomplete. Please, don'tslay me for what I'm saying, but... in both cases, I feel like I spent money for a rushed, incomplete beta rather than a full game. What's worse, XY never got any follow-up game (despite Kalos' lore and mysteries) and SM got a cashgrab third and fourth version (USUM) rather than DLC. I don't want this to happen again. I want Game Freak to take their time and give us a game that is worth full price. But who am I kidding? Even with an extra year of development, they will still release them incomplete and sell them at full price. Both XY and SM were in development for more than 3 years each, and sadly they ended being the incomplete we know today. Seriously, if history repeats itself with generation 8, I'm done forever with Pokémon.
