>>35409035literally the highest grossing media franchise in history but unfortunately tpci, specifically gamefreak, follow more of a "how the rich stay rich" mindset. theyre gonna have a small budget to maximize their profit and avoid risking a single penny. theyre not a smaller ip so nintendo cant force them to take a risk which could be for better or worse.
Pokemon is in a completely different field than the rest of nintendos associated IPs too, so people expecting it to make big changes like BOTW or odyssey should probably lower their expectations. Its literally just gamefreak trying to make as much money as they can seperate from nintendo
