Growing up was really boring and uneventful, the only times he would have fun were when the professor needed help for some studies, which usually meant going around the various paths in the island.
His starter is a Zangoose, since for the request that sets off the main story, the professor needs him to reach an isolated mountain town, and the cave before the town is crawling with Sevipers.
