It's because it's not normal as you can see by the fact that people would find it weird in other instances. People who partake in a hobby normally like multiple things in that hobby and when they don't there is usually something wrong with them.
And for example, me. I am literally autistic and can sit down and listen to just one song for hours, and even days, weeks, and in two cases months on end before I move on to something else. That it is not normal.
I'm not saying you should necessarily feel ashamed if you don't play other games but to ask others what to play "while you wait", for example, as if it's is normal that you would only play them, is retarded. Obviously if there is no new game in the series and you don't like others you just play what you have and wait. There is nothing else to do and you're just asking to be made fun of by saying it.
As an extreme example, if you had a micropeen would you run down the road asking people how you could pleasure a woman with your dick? No, you wouldn't because most of them would just make fun of you for various reasons even if it wasn't based on your size specifically. Again, because it's not normal to do that.
